About the event
We are so excited to welcome Kawá Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) back to Manchester Yoga Central & invite you to a magical & mystical evening of connecting to Huni Kuin culture & spirituality. Come share this precious & rare opportunity to open our hearts with the medicine of Rapéh ("hapé") & sacred healing chants of the Amazon rainforest!
The Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) are an ethnic group based in the lowland Amazon in the state of Acre, Brazil. They speak their own language called Hantxa Kuin & have a longstanding tradition of working with medicines of the rainforest. The Huni Kuin songs are ancient prayers invoking the forces of spirits of the forest & the sacred medicines, bringing physical, emotional & spiritual healing. Singing & listening to these ancient prayers lifts our frequency and manifests healing, transformation & joy.
