Guided Mindfulness into Relaxation Class.
Taking the time for self-care is a gift for you to enjoy and the benefits may trickle over into many other areas of your life. Thousands of studies have documented the physical and mental benefits of mindfulness, particularly in reducing stress and promoting positive feelings. Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.
My name is Nadine and I look forward to sharing this experience with you. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future. During this one hour session I will take you through a guided meditation which will help you to relax and be in the present moment. We will work towards acceptance,meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them and hopefully leave you with a greater sense of inner peace to be nurtured over the coming days.
Yoga mats, blankets and bolsters are provided and please feel free to bring something extra i.e cushions or your favourite blanket to be even more comfortable.
Please wear something warm and cosy as your body temperature naturally drops when you are relaxed.
Please arrive 15 minutes early, giving you plenty of time to settle. Doors are locked at 6pm.
Doors open 5.30pm
We start the class at 6pm & finish at 7pm.
